Designed to work perfectly well with laptops and netbooks of all models and manufacturers, the new device promises to work with both current and upcoming machines.
With a sleek design, the new portable writer is completely USB powered, and also bundled with a full-featured copy of the CyberLink Power2Go media writing software, in addition to a 30-day trial of MediaShow. The tools are capable of successfully executing all types of writing and editing of CDs and DVDs.
The 8x slim gadget is compatible with the latest Windows 7 operating system, and supports both 8X DVD and 24X CD write speeds. Also bundled with the writer are the latest "dual layer recordable DVD media formats".
Transcend has priced its new portable writer at Rs. 4,300.
